Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe 2011 is underway. 2010 flew by! I guess time flies when you're in-love and planning a wedding, ha!
We are down to just a little over 4 months until our wedding and we couldn't be more excited. We are bakc into full swing planning now and starting to iron out the details. And everyone knows there are a lot of "little details" when it comes to weddings.
Next Tuesday the 10th, David and I are having a meeting at our reception venue, Music Hall, with MH and our floral designer. We intend to plan the room design and layout, figure out where tables will be and how many at a table, etc. We also will talk to MH about lighting. They have their own lighting crew so that was a plus - one less vendor to book/plan with. I also ordered full size linens to see how they will look on the tables and to see what colors we like. David and I are also trying to finalize our wedding invitations with his sister-in-law and brother from Vellum Designs. (They did our Save The Dates.)
I have also been finishing up with my bridal accessory shopping. Veil, headband, earrings, bracelet. I have picked some beautiful Maria Elena jewelry. I will have a separate post about that! Next check is shoes and wedding bands!
David and I have also almost fully completed our wedding gift registries. We definitely plan to keep Pottery Barn and William Sonoma in business, haha - recession what?!
